Sup friends, my name is Thivy Ruthra (Thivyakanth Ruthramoorthy) and I was born in Sri Lanka currently living in New Zealand. I got into graphic design when I was fifteen years old and most of the graphic design skills and knowledge I have are self thought. Currently I am a part four software engineering student at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Where I am learning about all facets of the software development life cycle including needs assessment, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance and support.

At University, I was given a deep understanding and insight as to what is expected of Software Engineers as professionals at the workplace. I have gained knowledge on various aspects of Software Design including the Spiral model for Software Development as well as the Extreme Programming approach of Test Driven Development. I have learned a lot about improving and testing the efficiency of software both in terms of space and time of execution of software applications.

Apart from University and web designing I enjoy playing outdoor and indoor cricket, badminton and table-tennis. I play cricket in a competitive league. My other interests include listening Tamil and English music and also playing computer and console games.
